CEO / Creative Director / Choreographer / Performer

 

Born in Denver, CO, Casandra studied performance at the American Musical Dramatic Academy Conservatory in Los Angeles. She then extended her studies at the University of Colorado in Denver, acquiring her B.A. in Theater, Film & Video Production. Career opportunities took her to New York City, where she honed in on her production skills in film and television working on T.V. shows like "Gotham" Season 1, "30 Rock", HBO'S "Show Me A Hero" and films such as John Wick II and Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Casandra was asked to join the team at Dear World to become a Storyteller and Project Manager, thus bringing her to New Orleans.

Casandra has produced a variety of short films, staged performances and her newest project, The Jamettes Krewe. Bringing self expression and confidence to the New Orleans parading community. 

 

Her work has been recognized by the NOVA Film Festival and Best Shorts International, and her performance in ALL IN THE TIMING, won an Irene Ryan Award in 2011. Casandra has traveled the country, capturing stories and connecting with people from all walks of life. Always looking for the next creative endeavor, Casandra is excited to take The Fenomenons to new heights.
