​Casandra Corrales-Brupbacher was born in Denver, CO, and studied performance at the American Musical Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles before earning her B.A. in Theater, Film & Video Production from the University of Colorado Denver. Her career led her to New York City, where she sharpened her film and television production skills on projects such as Gotham (Season 1), 30 Rock, HBO’s Show Me A Hero, John Wick II, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. She later joined the storytelling and project management team at Dear World, which brought her to New Orleans.

 

In New Orleans, Casandra has produced short films, staged performances, and launched her newest project, The Jamettes Krewe, fostering self-expression and confidence in the city’s parading community. Her work has been recognized by the NOVA Film Festival and Best Shorts International, and her performance in All in the Timing earned her the Irene Ryan Award.

 

A three-time winning director and choreographer at the KOB Dance Off New Orleans Competition and an active community leader, Casandra looks forward to the journey ahead with The Fenomenons.
